Train fast to swing fast. Remember speed x strength = Power (Distance and MPH)
Over-speed training and deceleration drills will improve your core strength and train your brain to know it’s ok for you to swing faster. A good example is when you run downhill. We call these crazy legs where you feel like you’re going to fall on your face. This helps your body adapt to the speed it’s not used to using.
Get out of your comfort zone, swing as fast as possible; get ugly!
When you swing faster: something will get more efficient in your golf swing.
Allow the natural motion to happen: let it go, get away from the technical thoughts.
Yes, improving mechanics will improve speed but speed can be earned with the right program.

Use the alignment stick found in your golf bag!
(Add athletic tape to one end of the alignment stick to improve grip so it doesn’t slip out of your hands)
- 3 x 5 (2 decels, 1 swing) Left-Handed
- 3 x 5 (2 decels, 1 swing) Right-Handed
- 3 times a week for 3 weeks and retest your swing speed
