Sagittal Plane


Assess hip flexor and quadriceps mobility

Starting Position:

End of mat against wall
Half- kneeling facing away from wall

Cueing & Measurement:

Place one knee on 20” mark of midline strip with foot against wall and other foot flat out to side in front with shin vertical & knee directly under ankle
Gently sit your weight back into hip, keeping torso upright & hold for 30secs.
Relax, then move knee 2-4” closer to the wall and repeat
When you feel intense stretch in hip flexor, record knee position on midline strip
Switch sides and repeat
