Wall Overhead Squat

Sagittal Plane


Assess overall kinetic chain, hip & ankle mobility

Starting Position:

Front end of mat against wall
Stand upright facing the wall with feet 3-4 boxes away from the wall

Cueing & Measurement:

Raise your arms overhead and squat as deep as possible
Return upright and step in 4” closer on the midline strip and repeat
Continue stepping 4” closer to the wall each rep until your hands come in contact with the wall or you can step no closer
Record position of toes on the midline strip
