TRX Lateral Lunge

Frontal Plane


Strengthen lower body in frontal plane

Starting Position:

Mat in open space with TRX hanging over midline strip
Stand with feet together in 1st row of boxes, facing sideways & holding handles

Cueing & Measurement:

Extend arms out in front and step inside foot laterally 3 boxes, positioning outside edge of foot along box line
Bend at hip & knee and lower down to floor, keeping trailing leg straight
Push off your outside foot to return back to upright position
Repeat stepping out 4 boxes, repeat again stepping out 5 boxes
Switch sides, turning to face the other way and repeat
