Single Leg Hop

Sagittal Plane


Assess hip, knee & ankle stability and power

Starting Position:

Mat in open space
Stand at front end of mat with toes of one foot directly in line with midline strip

Cueing & Measurement:

Raise other foot slightly & hop forward as far down mat as possible, swinging arms up in front to assist
Land, bending at the hips and knee to absorb & stick position
Record heel position on the midline strip
Walk back to front end of mat and repeat on other leg
