Broad Jump

Sagittal Plane

Purpose: 

Assess lower body power & mobility

Starting Position:

Mat in open space
Stand upright at the front end of the mat with toes touching edge

Cueing & Measurement:

Squat slightly at hips and knees, then jump forward as far down mat as possible, swinging arms up in front to assist
Land, bending at the hips and knees to absorb & stick position
Record heel position on the midline strip
Walk back to front end of mat and repeat
