Transverse Plane

Purpose: 

Assess upper body strength & agility

Starting Position:

Mat in open space
Top of push up position, facing sideways with one hand on floor at edge of mat and other on midline strip at 36” mark – use 30” for individuals under 5’8”

Cueing & Measurement:

Raise one hand & bring it across to touch other hand then back to start position
Repeat, bringing other hand across to touch & back
Continue to perform alternating touches for 15-secs
Repeat for 3 sets counting number of reps per set
