Frontal Plane


Assess single leg hip adduction mobility

Starting Position:

Mat in open space
Kneel in middle of mat facing sideways

Cueing & Measurement:

Extend inside leg straight out, foot flat on floor at front end of mat against wall
Position other knee along midline strip with foot externally rotated out behind at comfortable distance & record knee position on midline strip
Slowly sit your hips back & forth in a gentle rocking motion
Return to kneeling position in middle of mat, then turn to face other direction
Repeat on other side
