Glider Single Leg Squat

Frontal Plane


Assess adductor & hamstring mobility

Starting Position:

Mat in open space
Stand at front end of mat facing sideways with one foot on a glider in 2nd row of boxes, middle of foot is placed at the midline strip right up against the mat

Cueing & Measurement:

Slide foot on glider along mat, pushing other glider down midline strip one box while bending standing knee
Slide foot back in to start position and repeat, pushing glider out another box
Try to push outside glider out along midline strip as far as possible one box at a time while maintaining good form & balance
Record furthest number of midline strip, then switch sides sliding other foot out
